Kate Kallot is the CEO and founder of AminiAI, a Nairobi-based company that uses AI to provide actionable environmental data through satellite imaging. Nominated in 2023 for the TIME100AI list, she is recognized for her work in using AI support emerging markets and attracting investment to Africa. AminiAI’s technology helps address data scarcity in sub-Saharan Africa, driving more informed decisions in agriculture and beyond.

Ocean Eyes – Japan
Ocean Eyes is a Japanese startup founded in 2019 in Kyoto. The company specializes in marine data analysis, utilizing advanced pattern recognition and ocean simulation technologies to promote sustainable fisheries.
Helsing – France
Helsing is a French defense technology startup focused on AI for military applications. Founded in 2021, the company develops AI-driven systems, including autonomous drones designed to enhance defense capabilities, particularly for NATO allies.
Habs – France
Habs is a French deep-tech startup founded in 2023 that is working on non-invasive brainwave analysis to decrypt the signals emitted by the human brain. The startup is led by a team of neuroscientists, researchers, and innovators who hope to provide insights for industries such as healthcare, cybersecurity, robotics, and marketing.
Creative Industries
According to a report published by World Bank, 10% of global GDP is projected to come from creative economy by 2030. At VivaTech 2025, we'll take a look at how technology is revolutionizing everything from fashion, film, music, design, and gaming.

Deezer is French music streaming platform that integrates artificial intelligence and other new technologies. The platform also places a heavy emphasis on the protection of artists’ rights in the music industry. In 2024, Alexis Lanternier became CEO after 14 successful years in the e-commerce industry.
Rachel Thorton – Digital Experience & Adobe Experience Cloud Adobe
Adobe provides a suite of software tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, that allow creative professionals to design, edit, and produce digital content for different types of media in the creative industry. Rachel Thornton, Digital Experience & Adobe Experience Cloud, joined the company after several leadership roles at Cisco, Salesforce, and Amazon.
Cliff Obrecht – Co-founder and COO of Canva
Canva began as a startup founded by Cliff Obrecht and his wife, Melanie. This graphic design platform quickly grew into a leader in the industry, now valued at 50 billion euros.
Special Events
Runway’s AI Film Festival will feature an exclusive screening of a selection of short films made using AI.
An experiential side event with Live Nation will take place in the Dôme de Paris, including immersive sound and visual technology.

Emobot - USA/France
Emobot is a medtech startup developing an AI-powered device for continuous mood disorder detection, such as depression and anxiety. The system analyzes facial expressions and vocal cues to provide real-time emotional assessments. This technology helps healthcare professionals by offering objective, continuous insights into patients' mental health, enabling early intervention and personalized care.
Nuance Audio x EssilorLuxottica – Italy
EssilorLuxottica's Nuance Audio glasses are designed for people with moderate hearing loss or impairment. This "smart eyewear" is an accessible and high-tech solution that uses algorithms to enhance sound directionally and can adapt to all sound environments.
Aqemia – France
Aqemia is a Pharmatech company that uses quantum-inspired physics and machine learning to accelerate drug discovery. Unlike traditional methods, Aqemia generates its own molecular data, eliminating the need for experimental datasets and significantly speeding up drug candidate identification.

Alain Aspect – CNRS/Pasqal, Nobel Prize Winner
Alain Aspect is a French physicist who has made groundbreaking contributions to quantum mechanics and had profound implications for quantum computing, cryptography, and our understanding of reality. He won the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics and co-founded Pasqual, a startup focused on quantum computing.
Zak Brown – CEO McLaren Racing
McLaren Racing is a British motorsport team founded in 1963, renowned for its success in Formula 1, with multiple World Championships. Zak Brown, CEO since 2018, is a former professional racing driver and a successful motorsport entrepreneur. He also founded Just Marketing International (JMI), one of the largest motorsport marketing agencies, before joining McLaren in 2016.
