About Me
Lane Becker is the Senior Director for Earned Revenue at the Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit that stewards the free online encyclopedia Wikipedia, as well as the President of Wikimedia LLC, which provides a for-profit Enterprise software platform for organizations to reuse Wikimedia content in other environments.
Previously, Lane was a strategist for 18F, a consultancy inside the US government working to modernize government digital services. While there, Lane started and ran 10x, an investment fund that develops technology products and services that benefit the American public. Previous to TTS, Lane worked for the nonprofit Code for America as their head of product.
Lane co-founded Adaptive Path, a pioneering user experience design firm, which was acquired by Capital One Bank; Measure Map, an online analytics tool purchased by Google that became part of Google Analytics; and Get Satisfaction, a customer service tool acquired by the social media firm Sprinklr.
